Any food or drink that boost metabolic rate of body help us to reduce body weight; so the green tea.

Drinking green tea is know to boost the body's metabolism rate. Green tea is believed to contain the highest concentration of antioxidants (called poly-phenols). An antioxidant that stimulates the body to burn fat. One study found that three cups a day caused men to burn an additional 4% energy. The seemingly insignificant 80 calories burned per day can translate to significant weight loss over time. That’s an extra 2,400 calories in 30 days. Without changing your daily diet or exercise regimen, it is possible to burn a few extra thousand calories per month just by sipping on green tea diet drinks every day.

But it is always advisable that you should go for proper diet and work out to reduce the weight rather just sipping a cup of green tea:-)

Green tea is good, but Red Rooibos is MUCH better.

Green tea has tannins which interfere w/ the absorption of nutrients, a problem since many drink green tea with meals. Green tea also has caffeine that will zap your adrenal glands over time.

Although, in general, the benefits outweigh the negatives, Red Rooibos is better. It has 30X the antioxidants, few tannins, and no caffeine whatsoever.

Looking at comprehensive, and comparative scientific studies on PubMed, fluoride has little or no effect upon dental health. But, natural fluoride (not in drinking water) has other benefits.
