Make Google Your Homepage

Goggling with Google Homepage is always a fun to discover new websites & treasure of information on the web!!. Have you ever given a thought to make Google more attractive and innovative? If not you should give it a try by making Google your homepage.

Google now let you to play with their homepage to make it more handy and helpful. You can make Google your homepage. Once you make Google as your homepage you can easily access following things directly on screen of Google homepage.

These four things are set by default on Google homepage which is also called as ‘iGoogle’.

Making Google as a homepage is a pretty easy task, what you need to do is follow the following steps and you are done….. :-)

1.       Log on to www.google.com

2.       Locate the ‘Gear’ like looking icon on right top side of Google homepage. (Refer the image)

3.   Once you locate the gear icon click on it, as you clicks on it a drop own menu will open which shows the option of ‘Search settings and iGoogle

4.   Once you click on ‘iGoogle’ you will be taken to the iGoogle page where you can see your default Google homepage

5.   Here you have to click on ‘make google your homepage’ which will take you to the new page which will look like following screen shot.

6.   Now just click on the link ‘Make iGoogle My Homepage’ and drag n drop it to Home icon in your browser and you have done it.

Now it’s time to personalize your homepage with the stuff that you want to access every day on your screen. To do so you have to choose the Gadgets to add to homepage. There are hundreds of it; just choose that fits you better.

One can even change the Theme of iGoogle. Once you started using, it will be more and more fun just don’t forget to add ‘A Joke A Day’ gadget to your iGoogle which will bring a smile to your desk :-)
