How To Drive Traffic To Your Hubs?

It always a hustle for new hubber and blogger to get traffic to their articles and blog posts. When I started writing on hubpages (one and half month ago) I was one of them who thinks ‘How to get free quality traffic?’ so my journey stared to search how to get an Organic traffic to hubs? As days proceed I found some strategies to drive traffic to hubs but it is not easy at all but absolutely doable. Keep patience, and keep working so one day you will hit target :-)

Write a Quality Hub

This is the first stepping stone to get traffic to hubs. Write a good hub and let the people connect to it. Many of successful hubber that I have seen written the quality hubs. But what if you are ‘Newbie’ like me? You need to understand some points before you start writing, to understand how to write better hub just make a search about ‘How to write a good hub?’

Every blogger and article writer tends to write Linkbaiting article. That is the one way to get traffic easily, and people tend to comment on such kind of articles. Most of time linkbaiting articles or blog post are written to trick with mind of peoples. There are lots of linkbaiting hubs out there; just search it and read it to learn how to write linkbaiting article. Recently I stumbled upon one such very good and quality article written by my cute looking fellow hubber ‘tweetmom’ i. e. ‘Why do straight men feel awkward around gay men?’

You have written a article ….what next?

Next step is to shout loudly and tell the world and your friends that you are out there on hubpages & written a new article.

I assume that everybody having the facebook and twitter account. Just hit the ‘tweet’ & ‘Like’ buttons to share it on facebook and twitter. (As per my experience traffic from social networking sites are lazy to clicks on your ads, but we always have hopes

Writing few more articles related to your subject of main article is very crucial to gain the traffic and reduce the bounce rate of visitors. Suppose if you have written a article about ‘Gmail Account’ ; keeping mind Gmail as your Main theme write few more supportive articles that related to Gmail and leave a link to your main article on Gmail Account.

Such kind of practice will keep your visitors engaged and also provide more information about single topic (e.g. Gmail) with different dimension.

This is a very crucial part to get traffic. As a part of hubpage family be friendly with other hubbers and hubs. Write an interesting comment on others hub that like you most. Don’t ever spam. Always remember that your comment is going to be a part of that hub and live people gonna read it.

Search engines will definitely going to crawl your article someday once it published online. It is always better to go them and tell them what you have published. They will notice it as early as possible.

Bing is one of the big search engine you can also Submit URL to Bing. I found that once you submit to bing they are pretty fast to index the hubs.

To Add your url to yahoo, you need to sign in.

Now you have done half part to get started on this ocean of internet but there are lots of things you need to do get ‘Targeted Traffic’ or what we call it as ‘Organic traffic’. This kind of traffic comes from only search engines. Question arises ‘How to get free traffic from search engines?’

To get lot of traffic you need to be on first page of search engines result for your targeted key word.

This is not a big secret but it is difficult to achieve top position in search results as there is big competition. Still there is some hope to get there for newbie.
